Many people misunderstand the door in csm, it's not connected to powers death, it's that his father didn't commit suicide, but denji killed him ( as a kid ), and hid him in an alley, behind a door.

For those who actually don’t know what’s in the door (spoilers) It was the memory that denji has of him killing his dad and he locked away behind this door in his mind and told himself that his dad killed himself
And like Pochita tried to tell him to not open that door when Aki became a gun fiend, to stop him going insane and maintain his sanity and contract with Pochita.
Why did she kill power though?

Havent read the manga, as soon as I saw Makima (watched the full anime literally lile two days ago) I knew she was gonna have this dangerous, secretly in it for herself, dominatrix/might walk all over Denji vibes, but Denji is both horny and naive, and worse, trusts her knowing damn good and well that she basically assured him that she would violently handle him if he disobeyed or opposed her. I think she's beautiful, and it's tragic that it's simply in her nature to be like this. She probably doesn't even think she's doing anything wrong. Those deaths to her probably felt the same as brushing her hair over her ear. Honestly, to some degree, she probably didn't even know that those people were dying.

Basically Makima killed denji's best friends/ platonic siblings to break his contract with pochita, aka the chainsaw devil. Makima is a huge fan of pochita because he is too powerful and unhinged for her to control, pochita (the hero of hell) saves humans and devils by killing the target and then killing the person who asked for help. Pochita took control of his friend denji's body after denji lost his will to live, pochita then started doing things that denji said he wished to do like date a girl, eat a hamburger and more. Makima aswell as the weapons devils then fight pochita and he bodies all of them but gets launched into space, so he then rips a piece of his heart out and throws it back down to earth creating a clone of himself to fight makima, The cloned version of himself pretends to act like denji in order to trick makima, and the chainsaw man at the end of the video is that clone.

Makima was fighting the hero of hell, pochita. The chainsaw man at the end of the video is a cloned pochita that the real pochita (denji) tore off from his heart. The cloned chainsaw man is pretending to act like denji to trick makima
